The green space and natural that concerns us today is the Botanical Garden of La Rioja, a fairly new garden opened it a few years ago, in 2005. Its territory has more than 20,000 square meters, with over 600 species of plants, trees and flowers originating from all over the world.

Botanical sectors of La Rioja
Different sectors of the botanist, distinguished from each other by what they contain, open a range of interesting natural specimens.
The first sector is the ArcerÃa, site, as indicated by its name, it retains different species of maples. The two sectors is that of Apple, that there formerly was a plantation of them. Here nature is combined with some sculptures and ponds.
Sector three is the Rosaleda. Species from different places, with beautiful cypress trails. The four is the Laguna area, where you can see a lot of species of aquatic plants.
Sector five is Olivet, nice place for recreation, for there’s cafeteria and various information services.
The Alameda and gases are the remaining sectors.
